Norfolk Wit

Photo taken recently on a bike ride through Ketteringham village in Norfolk. I always regret not taking a photo back in the time when I lived there and played cricket….in the village of Burston was a low hedge bordering the lawn of a ubiquitous bungalow…the owner had displayed his skills in topiary by clipping the privet into a dog peeing against it. It was beautifully crafted. The following week I drove to the spot again to take a photo and it had disappeared; the neighbours had complained that it was in bad taste and forced the occupant of the house to remove it. Normal For Norfolk, as they say.
