Pete Chang, sculptor and jeweller extraordinaire. Initial study done at his home. I painted two studies of his wife Barbara Santos Shaw the day before- neither of them to my complete satisfaction. It was only when I picked up my camera to use some shots as an aide memoir (as I often do) that I managed to capture an old friend as I truly remember her...with an inimitable grinning laugh.
